Dmitry Yablonsky founded the Puigcerdà Festival in 1998 and continued annually until 2006.  Many musicians took part in the Festival with numerous and prestigious international concerts.  Master Classes were offered as parallel courses to students from all around the world.

 

This Festival was the basis for the establishment of the Dmitry Yablonsky Foundation.

 

This Foundation proposes the creation of an Academy of Arts in Puigcerdà with the aim to bring the arts and culture to this beautIful land, as an inspiration for artists and with the help of the beauty of nature, with the consequent decentralization of the culture through education and artistic activities.
